Job Description

Resonate Learning is seeking an experienced Technical Editor for a full-time position for a 12-month contract (with the potential for additional work):

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Editor.
• Advanced critical thinking and writing skills needed to independently review a large amount of complex information and convey concepts clearly and concisely in written format.
• Experience editing Navy interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMS).
• Experience using IETM publishing software.
• Experience reviewing and ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper sequence of highly technical content.
• The ability to ensure consistency of style and format requirements, as well as adherence to DoD standards.
• Experience interfacing with subject matter experts, engineers, technical writers, and programmers.
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
• A bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• The ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• U.S. citizenship.
• The ability to pass a standard background check and be eligible for a security clearance.

The following qualifications are preferred, but all applicants who meet the specific job requirements below, and are energized by the company culture described, are encouraged to apply.

• Navy experience operating and maintaining electronic equipment or training systems is a big plus.
• S or TS Clearance.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 25%.
