Job Description

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
Specialty: Sterile Processing
Shift: Night shift, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sterilizing and preparing equipment for endoscopic procedures.
  • Handling contaminated instruments and ensuring they are properly cleaned and disinfected.
  • Organizing and assembling sterile instrument sets.
  • Operating sterilization equipment and ensuring proper sterilization of medical instruments.
  • Ensuring instruments are sterile and properly stored in a sterile room environment.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience working as a Sterile Processing Technician.
  • 2 years of travel experience.
  • Certified in Sterile Processing and Distribution (SPD) and Endoscopy.
  • HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association).
  • CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution).
