Job Posting Title Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator Summary Interacts with all Departments in the ordering and maintaining of the necessary paperwork associated with the Purchasing department. Assists the Purchasing and Logistics Departments. The Indirect Buyer position is responsible for purchasing all indirect and repair parts that are stocked in the storeroom. A daily usage report will be run to monitor irregular usage and reorder parts that fall below our minimum on-site requirement. We will conduct regular, weekly meetings with Crib Attendants, Maintenance, Engineering, and Accounting staff to confirm re-orders and process new/open requisitions. Requisitions and Purchase Orders will be sent to the suppliers for lead times, price confirmations, and delivery updates. This Indirect Buyer will be responsible for updating past due Purchase Orders based on Supplier communication (E-mail, text, phone). Documentation will need to be preserved and dispersed as needed in order to close orders and confirm receipt. This position will regularly meet with plant and corporate management and reports may be requested as needed. Experience using Excel or similar software required. Additional duties as assigned.
