Compensation:
We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The hourly range for this position is $21.40 to $25.15 and is commensurate with experience.
The Lead Crisis Patient Services Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) operations by assisting clients in crisis and coordinating essential client services. This includes managing resources, facilitating insurance enrollment, and scheduling appointments. The Coordinator oversees the volunteer and intern team, triages immediate client case needs, and develops standard practices and resource guides to ensure a consistent and high-quality client experience across FQHC services.
Required: HS/GED; 2+ yrs. experience in a Primary Care office; 3+ years working with homeless or underserved population in DC; experience with eClinical Works EHR
Required License/Certification: CPR/First-Aid; certified in Mental Health First Aid and Handle with Care De-escalation (w/in 30 days of hire)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (40 hours per week)

Position Designation: This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. You may be subject to drug testing prior to or during your employment with SOME. Environmental Working Conditions: This position is in an office setting. This office may or may not include individual heating and air conditioning controls. This office may or may not include a window.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Requires looking at a computer screen for several hours a day. May be required to sit for long periods. Must be able to travel to events and meetings offsite.
