2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring optimal functioning of machinery to minimize downtime. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on various equipment and machinery.
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize machine shop skills for repairs and modifications as needed.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards during maintenance activities.
• Assist in fabrication projects to support production needs.
• Conduct basic plumbing and electrical repairs as required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and equipment repair.
• Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with machine shop tools and techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Knowledge of safety hazard identification and mitigation.
• Basic skills in plumbing and electrical maintenance.
• Computer skills for documenting maintenance work and using maintenance management software.
